It's good to finally be able to get this episode out. Good day to all the RTC supporters. This is a special episode dedicated to my Urban nature Art Show. I thought it would be nice to let you hear some of the songs that play in my mind while I'm taking shots. The music helps create the imagery that you see and purchase via my online gallery. http://instacanv.as/nexmillen If you have time head over and give a look. Canvases make good holiday gifts. /////Millen

Respect to all my new friends on Reverbnation, Twitter, Facebook and Soundcloud. Thank you for the support. Keep tuning in and tell a friend.

This week is the return of the 45 Dig. I would like to share a few timeless gems from the collection pass down to me by my aunt and uncles at the early age of 5. These records are not in the best of condition, but have the greatest sentimental value of any other records I own. They have been played over and over again before, during and after my childhood, magically transporting me back to a time when my aunt and I danced happily in my grandparents basement to them. So let's get dusty. Enjoy /////Millen

Welcome to The Respect The Culture Sound. Thank you for your continued support and keep spreading the word. This week we have our first guess DJ of the season. Brother Skeme Richards from The Rock Steady Crew. When I came up with the concept of 45 Dig Skeme was the only DJ I could think about. He is a walking 45 vault. So in between a tour of Japan and Korea, Yes Korea like the funk 45's. He laid us down a funky little mix called The Essentials. Please feel free to check him out @ http://djskemerichards.podomatic.com/

take it with you

Iphone_trans Listening to podcasts on your mobile devices is extremely convenient -- and it's what makes the podcasting medium so powerful.

You can take your favorite shows and mixes with you anywhere, but to do so requires some quick and simple steps.

Let's walk you through that process together.
step 1:

Click the "Subscribe With iTunes" link in the page's sidebar:

Subscribe_with_itunes

This will require that you have the iTunes software on your computer.

(You can download iTunes here.)
step 2:
Itunes_ss

Now that you've subscribed to the podcast on iTunes, the feed will display in your "Podcasts" section on the left navigation bar.

Click there and you'll see the show displayed in the iTunes browser.

You can "get all" to download all available episodes or just individual episodes.
step 3:

Plug your mobile device (iPhone, iPad, iPod) into your computer with the Dock Connector cable, and click the device in iTunes's left navigation bar.

Itunes_ss2

Once you have your device highlighted, click "Podcasts" in the top navigation bar and sync the podcasts you want on your device. Click "apply" and the episodes you have downloaded on your iTunes software will sync with your device.
that's it!

The beauty of this process is that now, every new episode of your subscribed podcasts will automatically sync to your device every time you plug it in and open iTunes. You can now take your favorite shows with you everywhere you go.

Enjoy!
done!
